Love, the Facebook Way

I write poetry because it's fun.  Writing-wise, I don't believe it's my forte, but it helps me think about words and images in whole new ways.  Here's a little piece I wrote about Facebook (which, as you might gather, was bothering me at the time!).  I very much doubt it would ever be published, but that's not what it's really about, is it?

to click with me, click
here or there, i 
swear i'm status-
positive, i
tagged you so
it's your turn now -
you ready to expose?
this electronic stripping's
neither tasteless nor
derogative
so flash a touch of
midriff if you want
a virtual rose;
cos baby, we're
romancing in a 
technical economy,
we're done with 
chocs and bonhomie
(you poke and i poke back)
and darling, iLike 
you, but you're all walls -
now do you follow? see,
at one point or
another
it'd do us good
to chat.
